I recommend a “slicker brush”. It’s a wire bristle brush that works good for brushing deep down to the skin. It’s the best brush for preventing matted hair.
Well that depends, on a few things. Dogs with longer hair need more attention. If you want to keep your dog longer I’d suggest bringing him in at least every 4 weeks. Coming in this often will help prevent matting. Yet, if you are brushing your dog at home every few days, you can possibly go up to 8 weeks between groomings. If you like to keep your dog’s hair short, you should be able to go up to 8 weeks between groomings. Obviously, these are generalizations and how often you need to bring your dog in varies based on your dogs breed and hair texture.
Of course I can. BUT, me brushing your dogs teeth will not remove plaque or decay. If your dogs teeth are in need of a dental cleaning, there is not much I can do to help. The best thing to do is get your dogs teeth cleaned by a professional. Then I can brush your dogs teeth to prevent plaque from returning.
